Here is a bit about me related to this post .....
I was infected with the Half Dome "Bug" in 2000 with an innocent comment to my brother that started like this ... "Brian - want do do an adventure and climb half dome?" .... and all uphill from there. This year will be my 7th time (missed a year due to a sprained ankle fleeing a swarm of gnats ... call it husband chivalry). Half Dome has become a part of my life and been my favorite hike. The views, the experience, the adventure is exciting every year.
